World-class data products for locations across the globe are available from BREEZE within a few short days. All raw data handled by our staff are quality-checked and filled according to the latest U.S. EPA procedures. This reduces the risk of expensive costs resulting from the use of questionable or incomplete data. The time-tested methods employed by BREEZE staff create the most complete, accurate dataset you can acquire.

Through BREEZE data services, you can:

  • Purchase Raw Data for Processing - Although this method is available, we highly recommend allowing Trinity to do the processing for you. This process is extremely time-intensive and requires the use of very large files.
  • Let BREEZE Process your Raw Data - Provide us with raw data and our trained meteorologists can process the data for input to air quality models. We will work with your data set to ensure it is correctly formatted and complete prior to processing.
  • Purchase model-ready datasets - Send us your project location and BREEZE staff will identify the appropriate data stations, quality check all raw data, and you'll be provided with a quality dataset. This frees up your time to work on other tasks while BREEZE handles your data needs.

BREEZE offers data for air quality models including: AERMOD, ADMS, CALPUFF, CAL3QHCR, EDMS, ISC, and many more.

Our long history of data processing enables us to handle non-standard meteorological data processing needs. Our staff is well trained in providing data for use in deposition modeling as well as handling data from non-standard buoy, tower, and sodar sources. Whatever your meteorological data needs are, BREEZE can offer you expertise, efficiency, and quality products.

AERMOD, the preferred model of the U.S. EPA for near-field air dispersion modeling, requires the use of two meteorological files: the surface (.SFC) and profile (.PFL) files. Acquiring data, verifying the quality, and processing it into a model-ready state can be a costly, time-consuming process. While many sites may offer "free" data to use in the AERMET meteorological processor, this data is often very old and not preferred by most regulators.

Why worry about the liability of handling unfamiliar, out of date data?

BREEZE meteorologists can provide you with AERMOD-ready datasets that are checked and quality assured according to U.S. EPA standards. Our staff will help you identify the most appropriate stations for your projects and even fill the data according to the best standards to ensure that you get the most of our dataset.

AERMOD also requires a land use profile of the region that is being modeled. You can choose to either generate this land use profile yourself or allow the staff of meteorologists at BREEZE to generate it for you. Our staff uses the latest version of AERSURFACE for all projects within the United States, and they are trained to properly identify land use characteristics for other locations.
